Attended Montgomery Blair High School, Silver Spring, Maryland; Dickinson College, B.A., 1960; George Washington University Law School, LL.B., 1964. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1965. Served in U.S. Army. Member, Maryland State Bar Association (board of governors, 1987-88; long-range planning committee); Montgomery County Bar Association (chair, long-range planning committee; juvenile law committee; administrative law committee). Board of Directors, Montgomery County Bar Foundation. President, West End Citizens Association, Rockville.
